Here's a recipe for some really quick and easy bar cookies: simply top a cake-mix crust with peanuts, milk chocolate candies and marshmallows. The kids will love them!
Ingredients
1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 egg
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup peanuts, chopped
1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
3 cups miniature marshmallows
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine the dry cake mix with the egg and butter; spread onto the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for about 16-18 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean).
Top immediately with the remaining ingredients. Bake for about 2 more minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to melt.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
